Farm life a hit with kids
Community Event – Hahndorf Farm Barn
Local children living with disability and their families were treated to a special day out at the Hahndorf Farm Barn this month, courtesy of LJ Hooker Salisbury.
The fun day was organised through LJ Hooker’s connection with Novita which supports more than 3000 kids, teens and young adults living with disability across South Australia.
The children, along with their siblings and parents, were treated to face painting, tractor rides, animal feeding, an interactive show and pony rides.
LJ Hooker Salisbury Principal Daren Morris said it was a thrill for his team to enjoy the day out with more than 50 children and their families at the popular theme grounds.
“In our role, we work with people from the full spectrum of backgrounds to make the best property decisions for their families,” said Mr Morris.
“We’ve worked with parents of children living with disability in the past, helping them find accessible homes that suit their specific needs. But we wanted to also do something away from real estate which adds a few extra smiles and laughter into the lives.
“That is why we got involved with Novita. They provide exceptional support to kids, teens and young adults living with disability.
On behalf of the entire LJ Hooker Salisbury team, Mr Morris thanks the families of Novita’s Parafield Gardens office, for allowing the real estate specialists to sponsor the day out to Hahndorf Farm Barn.
